Time to act on social determinants
of health.

Hex summer09

Where we live, where we work, our education, our early childhood, our social power, our access to land and water: all these social determinants, and many more, affect our health. The Summer 2009 issue of Health Exchange focuses on the social determinants of health, what they mean for health workers and how we put this approach into practice.

Our partner Child in Need Institute (CINI) based in West Bengal in east India was awarded the prestigious 17th Rotary India Award 2008 in India’s national capital, New Delhi on 13 April 2009.

Lunchtime discussions series

Healthlink Worldwide and Panos London co-hosts a series of informal lunchtime discussion sessions that promote the sharing of innovation and learning in health communication.
