Healthlink Worldwide managed the knowledge and communication component of Disability KaR. This was an important aspect of the programme, and included a number of publications at different stages of the project.
At the start of the programme a needs assessment was undertaken to inform the knowledge and communication component of the programme. The assessment sought information on the issues people would like to discuss with the programme and the different methods to do this.
These included:
The Disability KaR programme newsletter. The three editions of 'The KaReport' provided a forum for the sharing of learning from all aspects of the programme, including the policy project, competition projects, thematic research, electronic and face-to-face communications and resources.

The production of a learning publication to support the findings of the programme. The publication analysed the research and knowledge from the programme and report on the findings.
