As one of three partners in the Source International Information Support Centre, Healthlink Worldwide has produced a CD-ROM of full text information for 50 practical resources relating to undertaking child-centred approaches to HIV.
The resources are arranged in three groups:
The CD ROM also contains publications that have been produced as part of the International Memory Project.
In 2005, Healthlink Worldwide produced a CD-ROM signposting key information resources on the memory work approach.
The CD includes training materials, case-studies, background information, and reports as well as the Memory work trainer's manual.
The information resources signposted cover a range of issues of interest to individuals and organisations supporting families affected by HIV and AIDS. Links to websites have been provided for those with access to the Internet.
The CD is divided into three main areas:
Each area brings together analysis and practical tools to help organisations
develop skills and approaches to Memory work.
Support for resource centres is also included, which includes guidance on gathering, using and disseminating HIV and AIDS information.
Information and tools from the International Memory Project are also available; an overview of the project, information about the partners, stories from the project, as well as useful guides for starting memory work projects and the memory work trainer's manual.
The CD-ROM was produced to coincide with the XVI International AIDS Conference, Toronto, August 2006, at which NACWOLA and Healthlink Worldwide are participating.
