The SIPAA programme identified a number of relevant HIV and AIDS, and learning and documentation resources.
These resources have been collated into a number of Key lists which are available on the Source International Information Support Centre website.
In particular the following Key lists may be useful to people interested in the SIPAA programme:
1.
HIV and AIDS mainstreaming
HIV and AIDS mainstreaming follows the progress on cross-cutting development
issues, notably gender, in which core development processes and policies
are adjusted and refined, without being overtaken by these issues or encumbered
by superimposed 'extra' or 'add-on' activities. Several key resources begin
with 'working definitions' which carefully shape the scope of mainstreaming
activities, reflecting the complexity of defining exactly what mainstreaming
in different contexts means

2.
Learning from practice
Highlights useful and practical resources about learning processes at organisational,
project and individual levels. Topics include looking at different types
of knowledge, learning practices and knowledge sharing techniques. The
list includes information on a range of learning experiences that can take
place internally within an organisation, between different sectors, or
between NGOs in the North and South

3.
Documenting what we learn
Effectively communicating the key elements of an event, programme or even
a social movement involves gathering information, reflecting on it, analysing
it carefully, and choosing appropriate mechanisms and formats for relating
it to others. The challenge is to answer not only what happened and how,
but to identify why it is "key" and how it can advance the work
of individuals, organisations or sectors. This key list highlights practical
resources that build skills and competence in documenting experiences of
development work.
