Healthlink Worldwide provides expertise in communication, knowledge management and learning. We work with organisations and institutions at all levels, from local and national NGOs to national and international decision making bodies.
We work using a participatory approach - working together with partners on needs analysis, project implementation, evaluation and follow up. The way we work invites an exchange of information and ideas between partners, communities and the organisations they seek to influence. Our projects often use a combination of techniques and activities to support organisations with successful health communication and information projects. The way we work falls into the following broad areas:
We
support others to communicate well - finding the best ways for partners to
share health information. We work strategically, using participatory methods,
to strengthen capacity in planning, dissemination and evaluation.
We
work with organisations to find solutions to specific IKM needs. This includes
needs assessments, documentation, improving access to information, and resource
centre development.
We
help to mobilise the learning from our partners' projects to use it for
planning, evaluation and future projects. Our partners share this within
our network and across the sector globally.
We
offer communication and information services to academic and government
institutions, local and national civil society organisations. We draw
on local knowledge, encouraging learning and strengthening networks. We
tailor our services to meet our clients needs.
